Your residents already have the app: WhatsApp
Every app-based platform hits the same wall. Getting a whole neighbourhood to install and log in — including the aunties, uncles and tenants who will never download another app — is a campaign that never really ends. Under Malaysia's PDPA, your committee is responsible for the personal data collected at your gate. Every IC number, plate and image in the visitor log is your liability, not your vendor's. The lazy default in this industry is to hoard all of it.
