When something goes wrong

The bot says I'm not registered

Your phone number isn't on your community's list. Usually one of:

  • Your household was registered with a different number — an old one, or a typo.
  • You've moved in recently and nobody has added you yet.
  • An owner in your household needs to add you under Tenants.

Contact your community admin with the exact number you're trying to use.

The bot isn't replying to my messages

If you're sending plain language ("who came yesterday?") and getting nothing back at all:

  • Check you're registered. An unregistered number gets one "not registered" reply and then silence, so it won't keep answering you.
  • Try /login instead. That command works independently of the assistant. If /login replies but plain language doesn't, the assistant is having trouble — use the app for now and tell your community admin.
  • Rephrase and be specific. "Show my invoices" lands more reliably than "bills?".

I didn't get the sign-in link

Send /login to the bot again. Links are single-use, so an old one won't work twice — and if you requested several, only the newest is good.

The guard can't scan my guest's code

Have the guard type the short code printed under the QR code instead. It does exactly the same thing and works when the camera won't cooperate — bad light, a cracked screen, a dusty lens.

If the code is rejected outright, check the pass in the app:

  • Expired — a single-entry pass already used, or a re-entry window that has run out. Create a new one.
  • Revoked — someone in your household cancelled it. Create a new one.
  • Rejected — for an invitation guest, you (or another host) declined them.
  • Valid, but still refused — check the Valid from date. A pass created for next Saturday won't work today, and the pass screen shows a banner saying so.

If none of that applies, the guard can register your visitor manually at the gate. That always works.

My tiles are greyed out

You're signed in but not assigned to a house at this community. A yellow banner at the top says so. Contact your community admin — only they can assign you.

If you belong to more than one community, check you're looking at the right one first: tap the community name at the top right.

I can't add a tenant

Only owners can add household members. If the Add tenant button isn't there, you're registered as a tenant. Ask an owner in your household, or your community admin.

Everything looks wrong / empty

Check the community name at the top right. If you belong to more than one, you may be looking at the other one — passes, bills, and vehicles all belong to a single community.

Still stuck

Contact your community admin. They can see your household, your registration, and your visitors, and they can fix most things directly.
